Quincy has been plumbing for 5 years in residential repair, and working with Thunderbird since the Spring of 2025. He loves working at Thunderbird because, in his words, “Our office is the best in the business and makes my life nice and easy.”

Nolan followed in the footsteps of his father and carried on the tradition and craft of plumbing for the last 4.5 years. He likes to have fun by being outside, camping, hunting, fishing, motorcycling, surfing and snowboarding. He’s always one to joke around and have fun with the team that he works with. I enjoy meeting new clients and helping them problem solve or make their plumbing dreams come true. Bonus points if they have pets, he loves pets (especially dogs).

Zach has been working at Thunderbird for about a year, as a Red Seal Plumber and resident Gas specialist. He has 20 years of plumbing experience under his belt and what he loves about his job is going to people’s homes and solving their plumbing problems reliably and effectively.

Dillon is a seasoned plumbing professional with over 10 years of experience and a proud member of the Thunderbird Plumbing team. Known for his caring approach and commitment to serving clients, he takes pride in solving plumbing problems with honesty, skill, and attention to detail. Outside of work, Dillon finds balance in healthy living, hiking, and exploring the world – especially the Himalayan mountains, which inspire his love for adventure and the outdoors.

Justin has been apprenticing as a plumber for 3.5 years. His favourite part of the job is solving customer problems and building quality relationships, which he’s been doing for 1.5 years with Thunderbird. He loves to play golf, pool, and some sweet tunes on the guitar, and enjoys working hard to build an exciting future for himself!

Toby has been working as a plumber for over 12 years. Since joining the Thunderbird team, he’s been glad to discover what a great company it is to work for (his words, not ours!). He loves service plumbing because it allows him to dive into problem solving while getting to help people every day.

Ian has been working with Thunderbird for 3 years, starting his apprenticeship with this company and his journey into the trades. He has loved working with and learning from this great team.

Derek has been living in Victoria for 4 years since moving here from Vancouver. He fell in love with the island while attending UVic and after graduating, decided to stay in Victoria and get into plumbing. Plumbing in Victoria with Thunderbird has been very fulfilling and he looks forward to what’s next everyday. He likes to work with my hands as well as learn from such a great and knowledgeable crew!

Brodie joined Thunderbird in the summer of 2025, but has been plumbing for 5 years now. He jumped into plumbing straight after high school and started with 3.5 years in new builds and custom homes, before moving into service as well. He really likes Thunderbird because he gets multiple opportunities to complete different tasks and learn on a daily basis, and gets the opportunity to be the best plumber he possibly can be.

Cole has been plumbing since 2009 and is stepping into a part-time office role for the first time in his long career. For the past 5.5 years at Thunderbird, his primary focus has been training and leading teams in the field. He’s excited to now act as a connector, supporting both the operations team and the hard-working technicians on site. Cole enjoys the problem-solving side of the job, and with strong teamwork and support from management at Thunderbird, he’s proud to do this work in such a beautiful city.

Michael has been plumbing since 2006 when he first started his apprenticeship and launched into his trades career. He likes the ways he can help solve customer problems and help folks protect their homes. Victoria is his home, where he’s raising his family and enjoying the great west coast weather. With 4 years under his belt at Thunderbird, he appreciates the friendly environment and good people.

Kyle is a Red Seal certified plumbing and gas technician with management experience, and takes a lot of pride in being dependable and customer focused. He believes in doing the job right the first time and is the kind of person who will stay late to make sure no one is left without hot water or with a job unfinished just because the day is ending.

He is a hardworking husband and proud father of two, a family guy through and through. He’s also a lifelong comics fan who loves anything DC, and when he’s off the clock, you’ll usually find him playing Minecraft with his daughter or making his baby boy laugh.

Presley is new to his plumbing journey, and he’s looking forward to taking what he’s learned in his classes out into the field for hands-on experience. A new resident of Victoria, he comes from his hometown of Courtney just up island, loves to golf, and appreciates how nice and friendly the Thunderbird team is.

Matt has been plumbing for 8 years, focusing on new builds, rough-ins, and finishing. He has really enjoyed the team atmosphere at Thunderbird. Everyone is super nice and approachable. He’s enjoyed the problem solving and troubleshooting his job entails as a plumbing technician.

Merissa is the kind of behind-the-scenes force that keeps people, projects, and ideas flowing with ease. As an office manager and project coordinator at Thunderbird Plumbing, she brings clarity, organization, and heart to the day-to-day—supporting the install team, keeping the office humming, and helping good work happen smoothly. What she values most is the people: real connection, shared purpose, and contributing to something that serves the Victoria community in a meaningful way.

Before this chapter, she spent years as an international travel consultant, an experience that shaped her deep appreciation for people, culture, and the beauty found in small details. Outside of work, she’s an urban farmer, canner, and lifelong learner, currently studying to become a master herbalist. Rooted in family and friendship, she loves creating spaces where people feel cared for—whether through good food, thoughtful gestures, or simply showing up. At the core of everything she does is a desire to live intentionally and help good things grow.

Janaya has truly enjoyed joining the Thunderbird team and stepping into her role as this technician team has grown. She loves getting to work everyday with an amazing team of office staff who make every work day a good one. As lead dispatch, she finds it very rewarding to be the bridge between our clients and technicians, along with knowing that she can help make people’s bad days better and ensure they get the help they deserve.

Meera has been working in community care, engagement and communications for the last 8 years, and is happy to support this wonderful team here at Thunderbird Plumbing. She has a background in storytelling, social media, and creative engagement. She likes getting to know the wonderful customers of Thunderbird, hearing their stories and their needs, and she loves making these technicians get silly on camera for your entertainment!

Shaun has been plumbing since 2003 in commercial, custom homes, and service – and managing operations for 5 years. He’s proud to be working with his awesome team here at Thunderbird. He loves to laugh, talk way too much, and he’s as honest as the day is long (“sometimes a little too honest—but hey, at least I keep it real”). Family is everything—especially his mom and his loyal dog, Beans. He lives life BIG—whether it’s big laughs, big projects, or big opinions. He wouldn’t have it any other way!

With 24 years of plumbing experience, Aaron is the founder and driving force behind Thunderbird Plumbing. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a thriving team of sixteen, known for delivering expert, reliable service to the Victoria community. Aaron believes in blending his hands-on technical skill with a commitment to mentorship, having trained and supported a number of technicians, helping them grow in their careers. Guided by a family-oriented and team-first philosophy, he emphasizes communication, trust, and pride in work—values that shape every client interaction.
